Mobile Blogger

Well, I finally decided to move in to the 21st century. Today I picked up a Kyocera 650 wireless internet card, and signed up with Verizon for wireless broadband. This is the present and the future of computing. No more wifi - I'm using EVDO, and I think I'm going to stick with it. No more hunting for a wi-fi hot spot, or waiting until I get home to get online. I am online everywhere, all the time. Cellular internet is the wave of the computing future, and I can see why. I think I could learn to love the little card sticking out of my PowerBook - it is not as pretty as the Apple machine, but it adds something no other device can - an internet connection that goes where I go. I will try to make a point of adding comments here, but so far all I can say is that I am happy. This looks like a great alternative for the wireless junkie like me. A little spendy, but well worth it - there is nothing else like it. Watch for me and my antenna all over Oregon. Sweet!
